HEADSHOTS AT THE MEETING

Professional headshots will be available throughout the summit with Southland’s photographer, Steve Canning. Attendees (especially new hires) are encouraged to visit the photo station in the foyer outside the main meeting space before and after sessions, and during breaks. For remote and hybrid employees, a high-quality professional headshot helps create a strong presence in virtual meetings and across company platforms — take advantage of this opportunity to update your photo while onsite.

Tips for Preparing for a Company Headshot

Appearance & Wardrobe

• Dress professionally, but comfortably. Jacket and tie are not necessary. We would prefer you wear what you would typically wear to work.

• Solid colors work best — avoid busy patterns, stripes, or logos (unless it’s a Southland logo).

• Skip white or very bright colors, which can reflect light. Mid-tone blues, grays, and earth tones are safe choices. Black is okay, too.

Hair & Makeup

• Style hair neatly and bring a brush or comb for last-minute touch-ups.

• Natural makeup is preferred, but enough to avoid looking washed out on camera. We’ll have finishing powder on set to address shine caused by the lights.
