Design Engineering

Mechanical, Electrical, Fire Protection

ROLE: DESIGN ENGINEER

What do you do as a new design engineer?

  • Work on load and other calculations
  • Contribute to layout and design (Revit, CAD, Navisworks)
  • Review specification and shop drawings
  • Manage engineering aspect of RFI process
  • Coordinate with architect and design professionals

Where will you be?

You’ll spend most of your time at the office while also visiting project sites.

Project Engineering

ROLE: PROJECT ENGINEER

How do you assist the project management team?

  • Help plan a construction project
  • Work and collaborate with mechanical design engineers
  • Develop project schedules
  • Develop daily productivity goals

Where will you be?

You’ll spend most of your time on the project sites.

Safety

ROLE: SAFTEY COORDINATOR

How do you assist the engineering team?

  • Ensure all tasks on project sites are in accordance with safety and OSHA standards
  • Maintain record of industrial equipment training
  • Report workers' compensation and company vehicle claims
  • Update Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) manual
  • Assist in implementing safety tailgates

You’ll spend most of your time on the project sites.

Energy

ROLE: ENERGY ENGINEER, ENERGY PROJECT ENGINEER

How do you assist the energy team?

  • Conduct field audits and measurement and verifications tasks at real project sites
  • Develop energy savings models to support project recommendations
  • Help plan and execute building energy analyses for various systems
  • Assist with securing energy incentives and verifying tax benefits
  • Support preparation of basic energy report deliverables and documentation

Where will you be?

You’ll spend most of your time at the office while also visiting project sites.
